5 ways you can take care of your skin during quarantine

 1. Cleanse and Calm

During quarantine, with all that time on your hands, you’ll be able to take that relaxing bath you never have time for.  Bring your book or listen to your favourite podcast while you cleanse and relax.  Be kind to yourself and take care of your skin during quarantine with relaxing baths and showers. 

You can even create your own calm and relaxing aromatherapy bath oil with four easy ingredients – Sandalwood, Lavender, Cedarwood and Jojoba oil.

Mix 30 drops of Sandalwood essential oil with 12 drops of Lavender essential oil and 2 drops of Cedarwood essential oil with 125mls of jojoba oil in a dark glass or PET bottle. 

Add a tablespoon of this relaxing aromatherapy oil mixture into your bath and soak away the stress and anxiety.  Take a few deep breaths of the deep floral/woodsy scent and feel yourself relax. 

While you relax, the sandalwood is rejuvenating dry skin and good for eczema and psoriasis.

Self Care Bath

If you don’t have time for a relaxing aromatherapy bath, don’t worry, you can also use this oil mixture as a massage oil to help you relax.

Mix into a paste and apply to your face, then let it dry for up to 20 minutes before rinsing.
